Strip crowns

Strip crowns are temporary plastic caps used to reconstruct front teeth, most commonly in children. They are mainly used in cases where a milk tooth is damaged by decay, injury, or root canal treatment. The plastic crown serves as a mold that is filled with white filling material (composite) and then placed on the prepared tooth. After the material is cured with light, the plastic mold is removed, leaving only an aesthetic, smooth, and strong “new” crown.
