Tereza Pejsarová (formerly Saifrová) earned a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University in Prague. During her studies, she gained experience as a massage therapist and health exercise instructor, and she furthered her knowledge through a number of professional courses and seminars. After graduation, she worked as a physical therapist at a private clinic in Prague; later, she applied her experience as the head physical therapist for the Czech national triathlon team and as the personal physical therapist for tennis player Petra Kvitová.
During her maternity leave, she became more interested in pediatric physical therapy, focusing on proper orofacial development, myofunctional disorders, and Buteyko breathing re-education. She completed a course on temporomandibular dysfunction and tinnitus and is now focusing her continuing education on issues related to the orofacial region. In therapy, she emphasizes identifying the true cause of difficulties, understanding the problem, and developing body awareness; she then strives to integrate exercises into clients’ daily routines. She sees enormous potential in interdisciplinary collaboration between dentists and physical therapists and therefore believes that at CLINIQ Chodov, she will provide clients with comprehensive, top-quality care under one roof, together with other specialists from various fields.
